Tying Rakhi during Bhadra on Rakshabandhan is not considered auspicious. Therefore, before tying Rakhi, the time of Bhadra is definitely observed. This time according to the Panchang, Bhadra will end before sunrise on 28th August. That means there will be no hindrance from Bhadra while tying Rakhi during the day.

According to Drik Panchang, the time from 5:57 am to 9:48 am is considered auspicious for tying Rakhi on 28th August. In such a situation, sisters can tie Rakhi to their brother after performing puja during this period.

When will Rahukaal last?

Rahukaal will also remain on the day of Rakshabandhan. According to this, the time of Rahukaal is said to be from 10:46 am to 12:22 pm. However, the auspicious time for tying Rakhi will end before this. Therefore both the times will not collide with each other.

Lunar eclipse will occur on Rakshabandhan

This time the last lunar eclipse of the year will also take place on the day of Rakshabandhan. According to Indian time, the partial phase of the eclipse will last from 8:04 am to 11:22 am and its peak will be around 9:43 am.
