Caution prevails in the bullion market due to geopolitical tensions between the US and Iran and fluctuations in the US dollar. However, buyers remain active in the market, driven by steady demand from industrial sectors such as electronics and solar panels. Check the latest silver rates in your city before making a purchase

The structure of silver demand in India stands at a unique juncture, balancing investor sentiment with industrial requirements. Approximately 18% of India's total silver consumption goes into jewelry and silverware, while the remainder is utilized in industrial sectors—such as electronics, photovoltaics (solar panels), and the rapidly expanding electric vehicle supply chain. Even after accounting for the depreciation of the rupee, the current silver price of ₹2,52,000 per kilogram on the MCX remains significantly high by historical standards.
