VinFast Price Hike: VinFast VF 6 and VF 7 Price Hike! These electric cars cost up to Rs 1.13 lakh

Vietnamese auto company VinFast has increased the prices of both its popular electric SUVs – VF 6 and VF 7 in India. The company has increased the price of the VF 6 across all variants by a whopping Rs 90,000, while the premium VF 7 has gone up to Rs 1.13 lakh. These new rates have been implemented immediately and this is the second price hike for these cars after their launch in India.

VinFast VF 6: New prices and variants

After the price hike, the new price of VinFast VF 6 has now gone from Rs 18.19 lakh to Rs 20.09 lakh (ex-showroom). this car Earth, Wind And Wind Infinity Available in three such variants.

Battery and Performance: The VF 6 comes with a 59.6 kWh battery pack and a front-mounted electric motor.

Power: The base variant Earth generates 177 PS of power, while the Wind and Wind Infinity variants offer 204 PS of power and 310 Nm of torque.

Range: The Earth variant offers a range of 468 km on a single charge, while the Wind and Wind Infinity offer a range of 463 km. This car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.9 seconds.

VinFast VF 7: Premium variants cost more

The price of VinFast VF 7 has increased from Rs 1.10 lakh to Rs 1.13 lakh. Now the car will be available in the range of Rs 22.99 lakh to Rs 28.09 lakh (ex-showroom). The VF 7 is offered in five variants namely Earth, Wind, Wind Infinity, Sky and Sky Infinity.

Battery Options and Power: The base Earth variant has a 59.6 kWh battery (177 PS/250 Nm) and has a range of 438 km. The Wind and Wind Infinity variants get a larger 70 kWh battery (204 PS/310 Nm).

AWD And top performance: The top variants Sky and Sky Infinity offer an all-wheel drive (AWD) dual-motor setup that generates a whopping 353 PS of power and a whopping 500 Nm of torque. These versions offer a range of 510 km on a single charge and take just 5.8 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h.

Premium features and 5-star safety Both the SUVs get advanced features like a 12.9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated front seats, head-up display, wireless charging, OTA updates and an 8-speaker audio system. Safety features include 7 airbags, 360-degree camera, ESC, TPMS and an advanced ADAS package. Interestingly, both the models have received a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP.
