Two-wheeler manufacturer KTM has officially launched the new ‘Arctic Flare’ color variant of its 349cc 390 Adventure motorcycle in the Indian market. Priced at ₹2.88 lakh (ex-showroom), this new colorway will completely replace the previous color model. The company aims to give its entry-level adventure bike a distinct and unique identity from the full-fat 390 Adventure line-up through this new visual update.

What is special in the design? How different from the 399cc variant

When the 349cc 390 Adventure was first introduced, it featured a combination of body panels like the 399cc Adventure S and 19-inch alloy wheels like the 390 Adventure However, now KTM has prepared a special colorway for this 349cc model. After this new change, the 349cc variant will now be available in two colors – Ebony Black and the new Arctic Flare. The ex-showroom price of the bike has been fixed at ₹ 2.88 lakh in both the colors.

Graphics and engine: visual changes, mechanics same

The company has made changes in the graphics of the bike to increase its visual appeal. Now the branding and lettering of ‘Adventure’ on this 349cc bike is given in a completely different style, due to which it looks different on the road from the 399cc 390 Adventure.

The company has not made any mechanical changes at the engine and hardware level.

What changes for riders?

This move of KTM will benefit those customers who want to buy a 390 Adventure series bike in a low budget, but do not want their bike to look like the 399cc 390 Adventure X, R or S variants. The new Arctic Flare colourway helps the bike to create a distinct presence in the 390 Adventure line-up.
