Maruti Jimny becomes costlier
Maruti Suzuki offers the Jimny as a compact off-road SUV in the Indian market. The company has now increased its prices. The new prices have been implemented with immediate effect.

Price increased by Rs 15 thousand
According to the information, the price of Maruti Jimny has been increased by up to Rs 15 thousand. This increase has been applicable to both its variants.

How much was which variant made more expensive?
Maruti Suzuki Jimny is made available in two variants in the Indian market, Zeta and Alpha. The company has increased the price of both the variants by Rs 15-15 thousand.

How powerful is the engine?
Maruti Jimny has a 1.5 liter petrol engine. This engine generates power of 77.1 kW and torque of 134.2 Newton meters. With this, customers get the option of 5-speed manual and automatic transmission.

To increase off-road capability, it has been given a 4X4 drivetrain, which helps it perform better on bad and difficult roads.

How are the features?
Talking about the features, Maruti Jimny has features like LED lights, fog lamp, rear wiper and washer, six airbags, ABS, EBD, hill hold assist, ESP, brake assist and rear view camera.

Apart from this, features like push-button start, cruise control, SmartPlay Pro, 17.78 cm infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also provided.

How much is the price now?
After the price increase, the starting ex-showroom price of Maruti Jimny has become Rs 12.54 lakh. At the same time, the ex-showroom price of its top variant Alpha is now Rs 14.67 lakh.

Despite the price increase, Jimny remains a distinct option in the Indian market as a low-cost SUV offering 4X4 and off-road capability.
