Toxic Box Office Collection Day 1: The audience was eagerly waiting for Yash’s film ‘Toxic’ and after its release in theaters on Wednesday, it fulfilled the expectations! Yash has created history; ‘Toxic’ has created a stir at the box office with a spectacular opening day. Returning to the big screen after the massive success of ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, the pan-India star has made a stellar debut. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, this film has crossed the ₹100 crore mark in India on the very first day.
First day’s income from tearing the roof
According to Sacnilk, ‘Toxic’ has grossed an estimated ₹101.10 crore (net) across all languages on its opening day in India. The film was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages, while its gross earnings in India have reached ₹140 crore. With this spectacular opening, Yash has once again proved his command over the box office. After starting the trend of earning ₹100 crore on opening day with ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, the actor has now given another film in the same league. If ‘Ramayana’ also manages to achieve this feat this year, then Yash can become the first star to deliver three ₹100 crore opening films in such a short period of time. This will further strengthen his place as one of the biggest box office stars of Indian cinema.
