A priest was accused of sexually abusing a young woman in the name of exorcism. Recently, this sensational incident happened in Canada. The accused has already been arrested by the police of that country.
According to police sources, the name of the accused is Rajendranath Dudnauth Maraj (50). He is a resident of Richmond Hill, New York. It is learned that the victim's family organized a religious ceremony. On that basis they called Rajendranath. But allegedly, after coming to their home in Canada, the priest said that the young woman's body was under the influence of an evil spirit. He assures that the young woman will be cured only by performing certain rituals. Allegedly, Rajendranath took the girl to a secluded place and sexually abused her in the name of exorcism.
Based on the complaint of the victim and his family, the police started an investigation. Then the accused was arrested. Investigators are looking into whether there are any allegations of sexual assault against him. According to police sources, Rajendranath was produced in court. But the allegations of sexual abuse have not been proven yet. Rajendranath has yet to respond to the whole incident.
