The son of great Virender Sehwag, Aaryavir Sehwag, along with Rahul Dravid’s son, Anvay Dravid, has been named in the India U19 squad for the upcoming multi-format tour against Australia.

Aaryavir Sehwag recently played for West Delhi Lions in the ongoing Delhi Premier League 2026, where his techniques drew comparisons to his father. He also impressed during the Cooch Behar Trophy in 2024, smashing 297 runs against Meghalaya.

On the other hand, wk-batter Anvay Dravid has retained his spot in the squad following an impressive 87 during the U19 team’s tour of Sri Lanka in July. However, the duo has not been picked in the squad for the two multi-day fixtures.

Lakshaya Raichandani will lead the side for the one-day matches, while Yashbaradhan Chauhan will lead the side for the multi-day fixtures.

The three one-day matches and the first multi-day game will be played at Rajkot, while the second multi-day fixture will be played in Ahmedabad.

The ODI series will be played on September 18, 21 and 23, while the first multi-day fixture will be played between September 27-30, and the second multi-day fixture will take place in Ahmedabad from October 05-08.
