Snip this vine off from the main plant. Then, pull off any remaining old leaves so you are left with just the bare stem.

Now, take that long stem and cut it into small pieces. Here's the most important part: make sure every single piece has a 'node'. A node is that small, bumpy part on the stem where a leaf used to grow. New roots and leaves only sprout from these nodes, so cuttings without them won't grow.Your plant needs loose soil to grow quickly. Just mix three things in equal parts (a 1:1:1 ratio). You'll need regular garden soil, some sand or fine gravel for drainage, and any organic compost like vermicompost or even old cow dung manure.Make sure your pot has drainage holes at the bottom. First, add a small layer of gravel. On top of that, spread a layer of dry leaves. These leaves will slowly turn into compost and also help drain extra water. Finally, fill the pot with the soil mix you just prepared.Take the small stem cuttings and lay them flat on top of the soil. Gently press each cutting down so the 'node' part makes good contact with the soil. Now, sprinkle a thin layer of soil over them. Finish by spraying water to make the soil damp.Don't put the pot in direct, harsh sunlight right away. Keep it in a cool, shady spot with good air circulation until you see new leaves sprouting. Once the new shoots appear, you can move it to a place that gets gentle, indirect sunlight. Your money plant will be lush and bushy in just a few weeks!
