Jawa Yezdi Motorcycle has launched the new ‘Jawa All Stars 42 FJ’ in the Indian market. The new motorcycle has been priced at Rs 2.02 lakh ex-showroom in Delhi. According to the company, this new edition marks the beginning of the ‘Java All Stars’ brand identity based on the concept of character, conduct and courage.

Color options and designs

There are no mechanical changes in this new motorcycle, but a total of six attractive color options are available with chrome finish. These include Aurora Green, Chrome, Matte Black with Black Clad, Matte Black with Red Clad, Nebula Blue and Red. It gets brushed aluminum tank panels, a sportier look and additional design details to differentiate it from the standard model. It also features all-LED lighting and a fully digital instrument cluster.

Engine and Performance

The bike’s engine is the same 334 cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC single-cylinder as before. This engine is capable of producing 29.17 PS of power at 7,500 rpm and 29.62 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox for power transmission. The company claims that this engine delivers up to 42 percent more power compared to other 350cc motorcycles in the segment, making the bike more sporty in the neo-classic segment.

The motorcycle is based on a double-cradle frame, features a 41mm telescopic front fork and gas-filled twin rear shock absorbers with 5-step preload adjustment. For braking, it gets dual-channel ABS system with 320 mm disc at front and 240 mm disc at rear. The bike rides on 1000/90-18 front and 140/70 R17 size tires at the rear. It also has a seat height of 790 mm, ground clearance of 178 mm and a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.

Ownership and Warranty Program

Java Yezdi Motorcycle is also offering ‘Ownership Assurance Program’ for its customers. This includes standard warranty of 4 years or 50,000 km, extended warranty options of up to 6 years, roadside assistance of up to 8 years and AMC of up to 5 years. The program is available at over 450 sales and service centers across India. The All Stars 42 FJ will be available for sale at all authorized Java Yezdi dealerships across the country.
