Lucknow. Political activities regarding the assembly elections 2027 in Uttar Pradesh are gradually increasing. There is still time for the elections, but the phase of preparations and claims has started among the political parties. People are also keeping an eye on political analysis and surveys regarding who will form the next government in Uttar Pradesh, which has 403 assembly seats. Meanwhile, a recent survey has presented an estimate of the possible vote share of the state.
According to the survey data, the Bharatiya Janata Party led alliance seems to be getting the most support. The Samajwadi Party led alliance is also not far behind. The difference in vote share between the two major alliances is not said to be very big, which indicates that the contest in the upcoming elections will be interesting.
BJP alliance is estimated to get the highest vote share.
According to the survey, the BJP alliance is estimated to get about 41.8 percent votes in the 2027 assembly elections. With this figure, the BJP alliance seems to be at the forefront in terms of potential vote share. This figure can be considered important for the ruling BJP, as the party is moving forward with the aim of returning to power in Uttar Pradesh for the third consecutive time.
SP alliance also strong in the competition
Whereas the Samajwadi Party led alliance is estimated to get 38.7 percent vote share. That means there is a difference of about 3.1 percentage points between the BJP alliance and the SP alliance. This figure is important for the Samajwadi Party because the party is trying to return to power considering the past election performance and the current political situation of the state.
What is the vote share of BSP?
In the survey, Bahujan Samaj Party has been estimated to get about 5.2 percent votes. For BSP, which has played an influential role in the politics of Uttar Pradesh for a long time, this figure gives an indication about its current political base. Apart from this, other regional parties and independent candidates are expected to get about 4 percent vote share.
More than 10 percent voters are still undecided
An important aspect of the survey is that about 10.3 percent voters have not yet decided who they will vote for or have not expressed their opinion. This class can influence the political equations as elections approach. If the trend of these voters goes towards any one alliance then a big change in the vote share can be seen.
