Aam Aadmi Party’s Amritsar North Assembly Constituency In-charge Karamjit Singh Rintu today launched the premix laying work on roads in Rose Avenue, Ward No. 4. Speaking on the occasion, Rintu said the work had been initiated to fulfil a long-pending demand of the residents.
The roads had remained in poor condition for a considerable time, causing waterlogging, particularly during the rainy season, and creating inconvenience for residents and commuters. He said the premix work would provide much-needed relief to residents and ensure smoother movement of traffic.
Karamjit Singh Rintu said that road construction and upgradation works would continue across the Amritsar North Assembly Constituency. Providing better infrastructure and improved civic amenities to residents remains a top priority. He added that renovation and upgradation of parks across the constituency was also underway.
Rintu further said that the Amritsar Improvement Trust has initiated the tender process for construction of new roads and improvement of infrastructure across various blocks of Ranjit Avenue. He said these development works are targeted to be completed by December. Residents of Rose Avenue thanked Karamjit Singh Rintu for initiating the road works.
Among those present on the occasion were office-bearers of the Rose Avenue Welfare Association and prominent residents, including Anil Aggarwal, Anil Arora, Madhu Passi, Ashish Bhalla, Shammi Kapoor, Raghav Mehra, Bobby Khanna, Pankaj Mehra, Paramjit Singh Kataria, Poonam Kataria and Gurpreet Singh Kataria, besides other residents of the area
