In an interview given to Doordarshan, when Kangana was asked whether her statements should be considered personal opinion or the official stand of BJP? So he said that he has no intention of separating from the party. However, he believes that when there is a lot of noise all around, sometimes one has to speak loudly to get his point across. Along with this, he said that some of his statements may have appeared different from the party's thinking, but this was not done intentionally.

'BJP is with me today, tomorrow it may not be there'

Kangana further said that "BJP is with him at this time, but the situation may change in future and who knows, he may not be with me." With this statement, the actress did not limit her identity only to MP, she said that "Even before entering politics, she has created a distinct identity for herself for almost two decades and is also a filmmaker and writer." 

On the question of continuing politics in the next ten years or returning to films, Kangana said that considering the current circumstances, it is difficult to give a definite answer about the future. At the same time, he also denied the fear of not getting a ticket from Mandi in the next elections.

Kangana said even on distance from films

Kangana claimed that even today many directors want to work with her. According to him, many filmmakers ask him why he distanced himself from the industry. The actress told that she also got offers from big production houses, but she rejected some offers. She said that she prefers roles that suit her age and personality. Giving the example of 'Thalaivi', Kangana said that characters like Jayalalitha are more challenging and suitable for her.
