New Delhi: Many times in Bollywood, actresses have to go through such situations during shoots, which are not easy. Something similar happened with Bollywood actress Dia Mirza also. Dia recently shared an anecdote from the early days of her career, which everyone is surprised to hear. He told how during the shooting of a song 22 years ago, he had to become almost naked in front of 100 men.
Story of the song 'Tumsa Nahi Dekha'
Dia Mirza narrated this story about the song 'Mujhe Tumse Mohabbat Hai' from the 2004 film 'Tumsa Nahi Dekha'. In an interview given to Bollywood Bubble, Dia told that this song was one of the most difficult experiences for her.
She said that as a girl, it was not at all easy to shoot in just underwear and bra in front of hundreds of men present on the set. There were about 100 people present on the set at that time and he had to do this scene in front of them.
made people feel safe
Dia told that even though it was difficult for her, the people present on the set made her feel very safe. This song was choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant. Diya said, "It freed me in ways I never imagined.
After this, I was able to perform this song with full confidence because Vaibhavi Merchant was the choreographer of this song. At the same time, everyone working on it made me feel very safe."
Truth of character is most important
Dia further said that by that time she had understood that it is most important for an actor to understand the truth of the character. He said, "It didn't matter to me whether there were 500 or 1,000 people in the room. How do I explain this? It felt right, but it didn't actually feel that way, because by then I had understood how important it was to convey the message you were giving through your role."
25 years of journey made me strong
Dia said that many such things from the initial phase of her career have made her the artist she is today. If today she is able to bring depth and real-life experience to any character, it is because of the difficulties she has overcome in the last 25 years.
She said that it is an ongoing process and she will keep learning and getting better. The film 'Tumsa Nahi Dekha – A Love Story' was directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. It was inspired by the Hollywood movie 'Pretty Woman'.
