IPOs of ESDS Software Solution Limited and Priority Jewels have also opened from Friday. Investors will be able to bid in both IPOs till September 1.
ESDS Software Solutions wants to raise Rs 720 crore through IPO. Whereas Priority Jewels aims to raise Rs 91.50 crore from IPO. In such a situation, today investors are keeping an eye on the IPO market along with the stock market.
Mixed business for Asian markets
There was mixed trading in Asian markets on Friday. South Korea's Kospi fell 72 points or 1.05% to 6,821. Japan's Nikkei rose 596 points or 0.96% to 66,603. Whereas Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading at 25,691 with a gain of 125 points or 0.47%.
There was a rise in American markets also
Earlier on August 27, American markets had closed with gains. Dow Jones closed at 53,569, up 106 points or 0.20%. Nasdaq gained 411 points or 1.57% and reached 26,541. S&P 500 also closed at 7,731, up 55 points or 0.72%.
Buying by domestic investors continues
Domestic institutional investors i.e. DII have bought shares worth Rs 14,126 crore in the last 7 days. DII purchases in the last 30 days stood at Rs 48,892 crore.
Whereas foreign investors i.e. FII/FPI have made purchases worth Rs 2,980 crore in the last 7 days. However, in the latest data, FII/FPI have sold Rs 298 crore.
Sensex fell 539 points yesterday
Earlier on August 27, there was a decline in the market. Sensex fell 539 points and closed at 76,934. Nifty also closed at 24,091 with a fall of 117 points.
In such a situation, the market boom today and the strong listing of Tempsense Instruments has attracted the attention of investors.
