Former India T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav has expressed confidence about making a comeback to the national side, saying he is continuing to put in the hard work required to return stronger.
Suryakumar, who has been away from the Indian setup, said he remained focused on his game and was working towards earning another opportunity at the highest level.
The stylish batter stressed that he was not looking for shortcuts and believed consistent effort was the key to forcing his way back into contention.
The Mumbai cricketer has been one of India’s most dynamic white-ball players in recent years, particularly in the T20 format. However, competition for places in the Indian side has intensified, making every opportunity crucial.
His comments underline his determination to remain in contention despite a difficult phase. Suryakumar’s experience and ability to play innovative strokes across the ground continue to make him a valuable option in white-ball cricket.
