Tata Motors seems to be preparing to introduce its popular compact sedan Tata Tigor in a new avatar. The company has recently given many updates to design and features in Tata Tiago 2026. In such a situation, it is expected that many similar changes can be seen in the upcoming Tata Tigor Facelift 2026. However, the company has not yet revealed any official information regarding its launch or features.

New interior and many new features can be found

At present, not much information has been revealed regarding the interior of the new Tigor Facelift. It is believed that the company may take many design elements from the updated cabin of Tiago.

A new dashboard layout, free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, semi-digital instrument cluster, updated center console and new steering wheel can be seen in it.

Apart from this, the car is expected to have features like automatic climate control, 360-degree camera, electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear AC vents, fast-charging port and 6 airbags. However, all these features have not been officially confirmed yet.

There will be major changes in the exterior design also

The company can also make many changes in the exterior of Tata Tigor Facelift 2026. The front profile of the car can be given a more modern and sharp look than before.

At the front, there is expected to be a connecting element between the sleek LED headlights. This connecting bar can be given in gloss black finish, as is seen in some new models of Tata.

Apart from this, a new designed front bumper can also be seen. Elements like large air vents and pixel-style LED fog lamps have been seen in the design patent, suggesting that the front look of the production model may be quite different from before.

Minor changes can also be made at the rear. It may retain the updated bumper and connected taillight design with vertical reflectors.

Less hope for major changes in the engine

In the new Tigor Facelift, the company may continue with the existing 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. The option of 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox can be available with this engine.

The same engine is expected to be used in the CNG variant also. Based on the current specifications, the petrol version may be capable of delivering a power of around 86hp, while the CNG version may be capable of delivering a power of around 75.5hp.

Tigor EV may also get update

The updated model of Tata Tigor EV can also see design changes similar to the facelift version. However, clear information regarding major changes in the powertrain of the electric version has not been revealed yet.

The Tigor EV is expected to be offered with options like 19.2kWh and 24kWh battery packs. The version with larger battery pack can claim a range of up to 285 kilometers.

At present, Tata Motors has not made any official announcement regarding the launch date, price and features of Tigor Facelift 2026. Therefore, most of the information mentioned above is based on possible updates and indications that have emerged.
