Inter were keen on him: Guéla Doué set for the Bundesliga after talks with Bayer Leverkusen

Guéla Doué is not expected to move to Italy despite interest from Serie A: the 2002-born full-back, who unlike his brother Désiré has opted to represent Ivory Coast, has already agreed personal terms with Bayer Leverkusen. He is now waiting for Strasbourg to give the go-ahead so that he can travel to Germany for his medical and complete the signing.

According to German media, Guéla Doué has rejected Paris Saint-Germain in favour of Bayer Leverkusen, who are expected to wrap up the transfer for €30 million plus bonuses. AC Milan had followed him in the past, and Inter have also shown interest more recently.
