The film features two police officers who seemingly find themselves on opposite sides, further adding to the intrigue around the narrative. Given Meghna Gulzar's track record of adapting or drawing inspiration from real-life events, the biggest question surrounding Daayra at the moment is simple: what true story inspired it? The makers appear to be deliberately holding back key details, revealing enough to create curiosity without giving away the central mystery. With the posters continuing to fuel speculation online, audiences are now waiting for the trailer for more answers.
