Business class is the backbone of economic progress of the state.
In his address, the Chief Minister said that the business society is not just a means of earning profits, but it is the most important link between the producers and the common consumers. Economic progress of any state is possible only when the market there is prosperous and businessmen get an excellent working environment. From small shopkeepers to industrialists running big factories, everyone is an equal partner in the development of the state. He assured that the first priority of the government is to create a safe, transparent and easy environment for businessmen in Uttarakhand.
Took responsibility in times of crisis, became ambassador of Brand India
Recalling the challenges of the Corona period, the Chief Minister highly appreciated the contribution of the traders. He said that in those difficult times, grocery and retail traders risked their lives to supply essential goods and ration to the common people. The spirit of service shown by the business class during times of crisis proves that they are the strongest pillar of the society. In the last twelve years, under the leadership of the country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, new confidence has been awakened in the entire country regarding business and new experiments. Today the youth of the country are becoming employment providers to others instead of asking for jobs.
Single window system and simple policies are bringing change
Giving information about the work being done to make business easier in Uttarakhand, the Chief Minister said that the investment friendly system has been implemented for the convenience of investors and entrepreneurs. The single window portal has been made so strong that today more than two hundred services of twenty-six big departments are available online sitting at home. Keeping in mind the suggestions received from the industry during the Investors Summit, the government has made more than thirty new policies. The direct benefit of these policies is that new industries are being established very rapidly in the state.
Youth got big support from MSME sector
Along with the figures, the Chief Minister said that in the last few years, more than twenty-nine thousand new MSME units have been started within the state. About one lakh twenty seven thousand youth of the state have got direct employment through these small and medium units. When new industries are set up, employment opportunities will be created for our youth near their homes, which will also stop migration from the mountains.
Special industrial parks will be built in hilly districts
Emphasizing on balanced development between hills and plains, the Chief Minister said that factories will not be set up only in the plains.
