After celebrating Raksha Bandhan on screen in the fan favourite Indian drama, the stars are now marking the special occasion together in real life.
Taking to Instagram on August 29, Dalljiet Kaur, who played Anjali Singh Raizada on the series, shared a carousel marking the special occasion with her on-screen brothers Barun Sobti and Akshay Dogra.
On What is the name of this love?Dalljiet 43, played the eldest sister to Barun's Arnav Singh Raizada and the cousin to Akshay's Akash Singh Raizada.
She has now shown that the sibling bond still continues off screen years after the show’s conclusion in 2012.
“I may not have a brother by blood, but I’ve been blessed with brothers by soul,” she wrote in the carousel celebrating Raksha Bandhan with Barun, 42, and Akshay, 44. “the kind who make you feel protected, supported and never alone.”
“Some bonds aren’t created by blood; they’re created by love, loyalty and all the times someone simply chooses to stand by you,” she added.
Continuing, “Today was warm, beautiful and full of the kind of happiness that makes you pause and feel grateful. Surrounded by family. Surrounded by love. Surrounded by my people.”
Fans were thrilled to see this mini reunion, with one saying, “Flashback memories of childhood.”
