An important decision has been taken by the Western Railway in view of the increasing rush of passengers and heavy demand for tickets in the coming festive season. It has been announced to extend the services of 3 pairs of special trains passing through Bhavnagar division. This decision will provide huge relief to thousands of travelers traveling during Diwali and festive season and will keep the waiting for tickets under control.
How long are the journeys of which trains extended?
As per the details released by the railway administration, the schedule of the extended special trains is as follows:
Bhavnagar – Bandra Special: The services of this train have now been extended till November 26.
Bandra – Bhavnagar Special: This special train from Mumbai will be operational till November 27.
Veraval – Haridwar Special: This train will be run from October 20 to November 24 for pilgrims going to North India.
Haridwar – Veraval Special: The return train will be available from October 21 to November 25.
Bhavnagar – Shakoor Basti Special: The Delhi route of this train has been extended from October 16 to November 27.
Shakoor Basti – Bhavnagar Special: On the other side, this service will continue from October 17 to November 28.
Details regarding ticket bookingTicket booking for all these extended special trains will be started from September 1. Passengers will be able to book tickets online from Railways’ Computerized Passenger Reservation System Centers or from IRCTC’s official website and mobile application to avail this facility. This decision will make travel easier for people going to their hometown or traveling during festivals.
