CS Success Story: Sometimes the biggest success is the one which is not expected even from oneself. Something similar happened with 19-year-old Sania Sameer Khan from Mumbai. Sania (Sania Sameer Khan) has jointly secured AIR 1 with Khushi Agarwal in the ICSI CS Professional June 2026 examination. He scored 432 marks out of 700. Sania’s family, originally from Uttar Pradesh, has been living in Mumbai for a long time. Coming from an ordinary middle-class family, Sania’s father is a tailor and mother a housewife.
Sania, the second among four sisters, is currently pursuing B.Com (Honours) from Shri Chinoy College of Commerce and Economics. Doing CS was not pre-decided; for Sania, the journey of becoming a company secretary was not part of any long-planned plan. After 12th, she herself was not sure about which professional course she would choose. On the advice of a brother-sister, he started gathering information about CS course. After a few days of research, she registered for the entrance exam and started preparing.
Sania did not make any fixed timetable for studies, not according to the hours but according to the target. His strategy was to meet the set target instead of watching the clock. If the goal was to complete two or three chapters in a day, she would focus on completing it regardless of time. However, on an average she studied for about 10 to 12 hours every day. He intensified his preparations in April and May. But the long exam schedule was quite challenging for him physically. Despite reaching the hospital, Sania did not leave the exam. Sania’s health deteriorated due to continuous exams.
He had to go to the hospital and even had to be given glucose for recovery. Despite this he continued the examination. She said that she did not want to lose six months of her academic cycle. He also had doubts about passing at that time, but he controlled himself and finally achieved AIR 1. She plans to do LLB further. After studying CS, Sania wants to move forward by taking commerce and law together.
After completing B.Com, she is planning to do LLB. Her goal is to strengthen her understanding of corporate and regulatory law while continuing to work as a Company Secretary. According to him, CS and LLB studies can complement each other better, especially in areas like corporate law and NCLT.
