Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the state government has taken another important decision in the interest of farmers. Agriculture Minister Jitu Vaghani said that the purchase deadline for eligible farmers to purchase farming implements and tractor-driven implements under the 'Chief Minister Transport Scheme' for the year 2026-27 has been extended by 15 days.

Regarding this, Agriculture Minister Jitu Vaghani said that under the 'Chief Minister Equipment Scheme' for the current year 2026-27, the state government has made arrangements of more than Rs 750 crore for the farmers. To ensure that all the farmers of the state get equal benefit of this scheme, applications were invited from eligible farmers on 'i-Khedoot' portal and they were allowed to purchase farming tools and equipment within the stipulated time.

He further said that the applications of many farmers were approved at the same time, hence the companies manufacturing tools and equipment were not able to deliver the tools to the farmers within the stipulated time, hence the state government received representations from individual farmers, MLAs, MPs and other leaders about extending the deadline for purchasing.

Keeping this practical difficulty in mind, the state government has wisely extended the purchase deadline by 15 days for the eligible farmers who have received approval, hence now the farmers will have to purchase these farming implements within the next 15 days from the last date given for purchase.

Adopting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call of 'Make in India' and 'Atmanirbhar Bharat', many manufacturers in our state too are becoming self-reliant and making excellent farming equipment.

The Agriculture Minister has also made a humble appeal to all these manufacturers to deliver these equipment to the farmers on time, so that the farmers can use them in their fields on time. Along with this, the Agriculture Minister has requested all the eligible farmers of the state to take maximum advantage of this welfare scheme of the government.
