Assembly elections are to be held in Gujarat next year in 2027. BJP has been in power in the state for the last 30 years. Congress has failed to remove BJP from the government even once in these years. But, since 2017, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has been creating an atmosphere against BJP in Gujarat. Arvind Kejriwal's party has set its agenda according to the people of Gujarat, on which the party will contest elections in future.

'AAP', based out of Delhi, has been working hard for the last 9 years to oust BJP from power. The result of the party's hard work was also seen in the 2022 assembly elections, when the party won five seats in one fell swoop against BJP by garnering about 13 percent votes.

Preparation for 2027 elections

After challenging Congress in the last elections and emerging as an alternative to BJP, Aam Aadmi Party is making full preparations for the upcoming 2027 elections. His preparation is to capture power in Gujarat. In such a situation, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal is continuously visiting Gujarat. Also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP are raising questions about the functioning of the government. Kejriwal is especially talking about education, farmers, jobs and development in Gujarat.

Posted the video and sent a message to BJP

On Friday, Aam Aadmi Party posted a video of Arvind Kejriwal on its social media platform X. In this video, Kejriwal is targeting PM Modi regarding schools and education. In this video, Kejriwal says that there is BJP government in Gujarat for the last 30 years. Aam Aadmi Party went to Gujarat to contest in the 2022 elections.

He further said, 'We made education an issue in the elections. I said I will make your school better. The Prime Minister went there again… The Prime Minister wanted to sit and get photographed with the children in a government school. He could not find a school in the whole of Gujarat where he could sit and take photographs. Then they set up a tent. Made an artificial classroom in the tent. A window is visible in it… it is not a window but a painting of the tent.

Not a school to photograph

Kejriwal said, 'The Prime Minister sat there and got his photo taken… showing that he cares about education. In 30 years he could not create a government school where the Prime Minister could go and get his photo taken.

Education will become a big issue in Gujarat

Before the elections, Arvind Kejriwal and his party have made it clear by posting this video that they will make education a major issue in the upcoming elections also. Also, BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be cornered on the issue of education. When Kejriwal was the Chief Minister of Delhi, he improved government schools by keeping them at the center. Now he is putting this issue at the forefront.

In fact, in the 2022 elections, Aam Aadmi Party surprised everyone and won the Congress voters to its side. Congress's vote percentage in the elections suddenly fell from 41.4 percent to 27.28 percent. The vote percentage of Aam Aadmi Party, which was 0.1 percent in the 2017 elections, came down to 12.92 percent in the 2022 elections. Whereas BJP got 52.50 percent votes, better than its previous performance of 49.1 percent.

Aam Aadmi Party has been on a high since the last elections. In this election, AAP will make a big upset on its issues.
