Priyanka Chopra never misses the celebration of Indian festivals, even when she is away from India. In 2025, the Chopra family got a new member, Neer. He was born to Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha on October 19, 2025. This year, he celebrated his first Raksha Bandhan with his elder cousin sister, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Priyanka and Nick Jonas' four-year-old daughter got a special mention and a sweet thank you from her baby brother. On Saturday, Parineeti shared an Instagram Story, showering love on Malti.

Parineeti shared a picture of Neer wearing his rakhi sent by Malti. The actress wrote, "Thankyou Malti didi for my first rakhi! Lots of love, Neer (sic)." Priyanka responded, "Didi loves you baby Neer (sic)."

 

After Neer's birth, Priyanka, Nick and Malti sent some goodies and gifts for the little one.   shared it on her Instagram Stories and wrote, "Neer getting spoilt already! Thankyou Mimi masi, Nick masa and Malti didi (sic)." On Parineeti's first birthday as a mother, Priyanka wished, "Happy birthday Tisha! This birthday month brought you the most precious gift, and I can't wait to see all the joy and love he brings into your life."

Parineeti will be returning to acting with Shaque: Trust No One on Netflix. It also stars Jennifer Winget, and Tahir Raj Bhasin. Shaque is created by Rensil D'Silva, and Siddharth P Malhotra. It will stream on Netflix soon. As per reports, it was formerly titled Talaash: A Mother's Search. The series reportedly is a psychological crime thriller centered around hidden secrets, investigations, and mind games. Netflix hasn't announced its premiere date yet. Parineeti's last film was Amar Singh Chamkila in 2024.

Varanasi is set after an asteroid named Shambhavi strikes Earth, unleashing global environmental and ecological disaster. The film follows a Shiva devotee and divine warrior named Rudhra, who is sent on a mission across continents and centuries to track down a lost cosmic artefact. Amid this, Rudhra learns that the mastermind is a wealthy, calculating antagonist named Kumbha, who wants global domination. Mandakini reportedly helps him travel to mythological eras and understand past events.
