Gold-Silver Rate Today: Gold and silver became cheaper by ₹ 2890 in 7 days, check the latest rate in your city.

New Delhi:There is calmness in the prices of gold and silver in the Indian bullion market today. After the big fall a day ago, gold prices have remained completely stable today. Yesterday, 10 grams of 24 carat gold had become cheaper by ₹ 2890 and 22 carat gold by ₹ 2650. If we look at the accounts of the last one week, amidst continuous fluctuations, in seven days, 24 carat purity gold has fallen by ₹ 4850 and 22 carat gold has fallen by ₹ 4450 per 10 grams. On the other hand, if we talk about silver, no new change has been recorded in its price for the second consecutive day, which has brought some relief to the customers planning to buy jewellery.

Gold prices in metros

In the capital Delhi, Lucknow and Jaipur, 24 carat gold is available at ₹ 1,58,390 per 10 grams and 22 carat gold is available at ₹ 1,45,200 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, the rate of 24 carat gold has been recorded at ₹ 1,58,240 and the price of 22 carat gold has been recorded at ₹ 1,45,050 per 10 grams.
In Patna and Ahmedabad, the price of 24 carat gold is ₹1,58,290 and the price of 22 carat gold is ₹1,45,100 per 10 grams.

stability in silver prices

There has been a lot of movement in the silver market in the last few days. After remaining stable for six consecutive days, silver prices had fallen by ₹ 5000 per kg on August 28, whereas in the two days immediately before that it had seen a huge jump of ₹ 10,500. At present, silver rates are stable for the second consecutive day. In the country’s capital Delhi as well as Mumbai and Kolkata, one kg silver is being sold at the price of ₹ 2,55,000 without any change. At the same time, silver prices are at the highest level in Chennai, where customers have to pay ₹ 2,60,000 to buy one kg of silver.

Market trend and experts’ opinion

Experts are quite positive about the future of the bullion market. Viral Shah, President and Head-Brokerage, 360 One, believes that if US bond yields soften, gold and silver prices could rise by up to 10 per cent from current levels within the next six to eight months. Global political tension and possible weakness of the dollar in the coming time may further increase the shine of gold and silver. Yesterday, 10 grams of 24 carat gold had become cheaper by ₹ 2890 and 22 carat gold by ₹ 2650.
