Under this new rule, legal penalties will be imposed on littering inside trains as well as in any area of ​​railway stations and the amount of fine has been increased significantly.

New penal provisions

Earlier, a fine of only five hundred rupees was levied for dumping garbage anywhere other than the designated place, which has now been doubled to one thousand rupees. This step has been taken by the Railway Administration to strictly enforce these hygiene rules so that passengers behave responsibly.

Ban on dirt and spitting

Not only littering, but also spitting, littering or feeding animals in public on train or railway premises by any person will be subject to these stringent penal provisions. In order to keep the railway stations and trains completely clean and beautiful, this rule has to be followed compulsorily by all the citizens.

Legal action against non-payer of fine

Within the first phase, fines will be collected on the spot, but if a person flatly refuses to pay the fine amount, legal court action will be taken against him immediately. Any final order passed by the Court to increase the penalty against the offender shall be compulsorily complied with.
