New Delhi . An important news has come out for the devotees preparing to go to Saudi Arabia for Umrah, New Delhi. If you are planning to perform Umrah more than once a year, then it is very important for you to understand the new rules of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia has clarified new arrangements regarding the rules to multiple entry Umrah visa. Now having Umrah visa with only one year validity will not be enough to go to Saudi Arabia again and perform Umrah. Before every new Umrah pilgrimage, the devotees will have to complete the prescribed procedure and it will be mandatory to obtain a new Umrah permit.
Under the new system, before every Umrah journey, devotees will have to book Umrah packages from registered and authorized service providers on the Nusuk platform. This package should be as per the scheduled dates of travel. After this it will be necessary to obtain a new Umrah permit through Nusuk app. The permit dates must match the dates of the service package booked. This clearly means that if a traveler has a multiple entry Umrah visa and wants to go to Saudi Arabia again for Umrah, then he will not get direct entry on the basis of the documents of the previous trip. For a new journey, the necessary procedures will have to be completed again.
This multiple entry Umrah visa was launched in July and will be valid for 365 days from the date of issue. Its specialty is that travelers can visit Saudi Arabia more than once during the validity period of the visa. However, the Umrah package and permit process will have to be repeated for each journey. Along with this, important conditions are also applicable regarding the period of stay in Saudi Arabia. Although the visa is valid for one year, travelers cannot stay in Saudi Arabia for more than 90 days for all trips combined.
Travelers applying for Umrah visa for the first time will also have to follow the prescribed procedure. First of all, the necessary Umrah package has to be taken from the authorized service provider through Nusuk platform. After this the visa application process will be completed. Passengers will be required to comply with all Saudi Arabia entry and travel regulations including completing necessary documentation and screening formalities.
According to Saudi Arabia's Hajj and Umrah Ministry, the new arrangement aims to ensure better management of accommodation, travel and other services for Umrah pilgrims. This will help in organizing the travel of passengers and operating the services as per the scheduled dates. In such a situation, if you are going to go to Saudi Arabia for Umrah in the coming time or are planning to perform Umrah several times a year, then before the trip, definitely complete the process of booking an authorized service package on Nusuk and obtaining a new Umrah permit. Traveling merely on the basis of a valid multiple entry visa will not suffice.
