Prithviraj Sukumaran is one of the biggest stars in Malayalam cinema. Known for his handsome looks and creative mind, he has established himself as a successful actor in Kerala and has also gained popularity across India.
His talent and screen presence have attracted Telugu and Hindi filmmakers, and he is now receiving more offers from these industries.
However, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s recent Malayalam films have struggled at the box office and have also failed to register strong openings. This year, he had two Malayalam releases, I, Nobody and Khalifa, and both films failed to make an impact at the box office.
Interestingly, he is becoming increasingly popular in Telugu cinema. He has already played a key role in Salaar: Part 1 and is now playing the main antagonist in SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi.
The makers of Sujeeth and Nani’s Bloody Romeo are also reportedly trying to rope him in for an important role. Director Prashanth Neel is also planning to revive Salaar 2.
If things go as planned, Prithviraj could be seen in several more Telugu films over the next two to three years.
He also has Daayra in Bollywood, which is ready for release.
So, while Prithviraj Sukumaran is currently struggling to deliver hits on his home turf, he is becoming increasingly busy in Tollywood and Bollywood.
