The body of Dhirendra Pratap Singh was found three days later near a canal near Kisan Path near Sarai Prem Raj village of Dubagga. There is a possibility of Dhirendra Pratap Singh being murdered and his body being thrown in Dubagga area.

The murder of Dhirendra Pratap Singh, a resident of Rajepur, Fatehpur Chaurasi of Unnao, is being speculated to be due to a land dispute. Hindu Yuva Vahini leader Dhirendra Pratap Singh was shot in the Fortuner itself. The driver himself is suspected of having committed the murder in collusion with his rivals over a land dispute. There were two gunners deployed with Dhirendra, one of whom was unwell and the other was on leave. Dhirendra Pratap Singh was living in PGI area of ​​Lucknow.
