Yes, you read it right. BB Bangla 3 is all set to premiere on August 31, 2026, and the show will have Sourav Ganguly as the new host. Bigg Boss Bangla 3 will feature both TV and film actors

According to reports, Bigg Boss Bangla 3 will star both TV and film actors. If the reports are believed to be true, then the show will feature diva Monami Ghosh. Monami has been part of both TV shows and Bengali films. Her career has spanned over two decades now. She was last seen in Srijit Mukherji’s Padatik in 2024, and her last appearance on TV was as a judge on Dance Dance Junior 3.

Popular actor Bharat Kaul, who has been part of the Bengali TV and film industry, will also reportedly appear alongside Monami. Bengali actor Anindya Sengupta, who has featured in projects, including X=Prem and Hostel Days, will also reportedly be part of Bigg Boss Bangla 3. Anindya has also shared screen space with Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi in the film, Kadak Singh. Famous TV actors, including Sean Banerjee and Sonamoni Saha, will also be part of Bigg Boss Bangla 3. Sean is well known for TV serials, including Mon Phagun and Ekhane Akash Neel. In fact, his chemistry with co-star Srijla Guha in the Bengali TV soap opera, Mon Phagun left the audience in awe. Now that reports claim that both Sean and Srijla are part of Bigg Boss Bangla 3, fans of the duo are hoping to see the same chemistry in the house. For those unaware, Sonamoni Saha has won hearts with her impeccable acting in TV shows, including Mohor, Debi Choudhurani, Subho Bibaho and more. Influencer cum TV actor Sayak Chakraborty will reportedly be seen in Bigg Boss Bangla 3. British-Irish model and actress Alexandra Taylor, who primarily appears in Bengali films, will reportedly be part of the show. Actress and OTT personality Sohini Paul and Nandini Dutta will also reportedly be part of the fan favourite show.

Sourav Ganguly-hosted show Bigg Boss Bangla 3 will also feature content creators, sports personality and entrepreneur

Jhilam Gupta, popularly known for creating sketches around social issues, along with comedy content, will reportedly be seen in Bigg Boss Bangla 3. Jhilam has 54.7k followers on Instagram and 94.5k subscribers on YouTube. Alongside Jhilam, the show will reportedly feature popular content creator Niranjan Mondal, widely known as Laughtersane. He has 1.2 million followers on his Instagram handle.

Joyeeta Banerjee, who is a fashion, lifestyle, and beauty influencer from Kolkata, will also reportedly be seen in the Sourav Ganguly-hosted show, Bigg Boss Bangla 3. Retired football sensation and former MLA Dipendu Biswas will reportedly be seen as a contestant on Bigg Boss Bangla Season 3. Another reported contestant of Bigg Boss Bangla 3 is Tanushree Roy. Not much is known about her. Multiple reports suggest that Tanushree is an entrepreneur. Bigg Boss Bangla Season 3’s premiere will stream on JioHostar and air on Star Jalsha at 8 pm on August 31, 2026. According to multiple reports, regular episodes of the show will air every Monday to Sunday at 9:30 pm.
