China's state news agency CCTV reported that the death toll in Tibet was 16. 564 people are not found. 261 of them are foreigners.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that 100 workers of the hydropower project are trapped in a tunnel in Trishul area due to the terrible Harpa volcano. Minister of Nepal Sudan Gurung said that the Nepalese army is trying to rescue the workers by inserting a big pipe inside. However, rescue operations were hampered by continuous rain during the night and rising river water. It should be noted that in total 933 workers of the hydropower project are missing.

A newly created lake near the Tibetan border has disrupted rescue operations on Sunday. Earlier, another lake was drained, but the danger is increasing in a new lake formed by a landslide about 2.8 km away. Due to continuous rains, the water in the lake has reached dangerous levels. As a result, rescue operations are hampered.
