New Delhi: Asim Riaz, who became popular with Bigg Boss 13, is once again in the headlines for his personal life. This time the matter is about his old relationship with his ex-girlfriend Himanshi Khurana and the alleged comments made on her. Bhavya Singh, who was seen in MTV Splitsvilla 12 and is also known as ‘Lady Don’ on social media, has received information that Asim has sent a legal notice to her.
What did Bhavya say in the podcast?
It is being told that during a podcast, Bhavya Singh had talked about the old relationship between Asim and Himanshi. He reportedly mentioned some claims in which Asim was accused of physical violence with Himanshi.
Bhavya had also claimed that she had heard such things a long time ago regarding the reason for Asim and Himanshi’s breakup. After this, he tried to link these claims to some other incidents and discussions that surfaced on social media.
However, independent confirmation of these allegations has not come to light. Asim’s legal team has termed these claims as false and damaging to his reputation.
Claims were also made regarding money
Some other alleged statements to the podcast are also mentioned in the legal notice. In these, claims have also been made regarding Asim’s financial condition. According to the notice, things were said which indicated that Asim was allegedly dependent on the financial support of a woman. All these allegations have been rejected by Asim.
72 hours given time
Asim’s legal team has demanded Bhavya Singh to stop further repeating or broadcasting the alleged defamatory statements. Besides, a demand has also been made to remove controversial content from the concerned media platforms. It has been revealed in the notice that a time limit of 72 hours has been given for reply and necessary action.
The legal team has warned that if the demands are not met, further action can be taken to the court or relevant legal forums. At present, this dispute has reached legal notice and Asim has adopted the legal route on the allegations leveled against him.
