Making the occasion even sweeter, his cousin Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, daughter of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, sent him a special Rakhi filled with love. Parineeti Chopra Shares a Glimpse of Neer’s First Rakhi

On Saturday, Parineeti shared an adorable Instagram picture featuring baby Neer’s tiny, fluffy hands, with a Rakhi tied around his wrist. The Rakhi had a charming vintage car design. Sharing the precious moment, Parineeti wrote alongside the picture: “Thank you Malti didi for my first Rakhi! Lots of love, Neer.” Priyanka re-shared the picture on Instagram and wrote, “Didi loves you baby Neer.”

After Neer’s birth, Priyanka and Nick sent thoughtful gifts and goodies for the newborn. Parineeti shared a glimpse of the presents on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Neer getting spoilt already! Thank you Mimi masi, Nick masa and Malti didi (sic).” Later, on Parineeti’s first birthday after becoming a mother, Priyanka wished her on social media, writing, “Happy birthday Tisha! This birthday month brought you the most precious gift, and I can’t wait to see all the joy and love he brings into your life.”

Priyanka lives in the US with her husband and daughter but remains connected to Indian traditions. Last year, she shared a glimpse of Malti celebrating Diwali with the family. She also hosts Holi festivities at her home.

The couple got engaged in May 2023 at Kapurthala House in New Delhi, keeping their relationship mostly private. Later that year, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha tied the knot in an intimate yet lavish wedding ceremony held at The Leela Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

They welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on October 19, 2025, nearly two years after their wedding. The couple shared the happy news through an emotional social media post, describing their son as their “everything”. A month later, they revealed his name as Neer and offered the first glimpses of him. They explained that the name represents something “pure, divine and limitless”.

Parineeti Chopra and Priyanka Chopra’s Upcoming Projects

Parineeti will next appear in Netflix’s upcoming film Talaash. Directed by Renil D'Silva, the movie features Jennifer Winget, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Harleen Sethi, Soni Razdan, Sumeet Vyas, Anup Soni and Chaitanya Choudhry. The film is slated for release later this year. Priyanka Chopra is set to return to Indian cinema in 2027 with SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi. The highly anticipated film also features Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles and is scheduled for release in April 2027.
