A big revelation has come to light in the Ankit Baliyan murder case. Police investigation into the murder of Haryanvi singer and YouTuber Ankit Balyan outside a gym in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh has revealed that a gang- dispute over a song could be behind it. According to the police, people associated with Gogi gang had forbidden Ankit from making a song, which they considered an insult to their gang. Despite this, the song was made and later it was linked to the support of gangster Tillu Tajpuria. Police say that for this reason the accused party was angry with Ankit and when they got the opportunity on August 26, he was murdered.

In the case of Ankit Baliyan's murder, two suspected shooters have been killed by the police in an encounter. According to the police, both the suspects opened fire on the policemen when they were stopped, following which they died in retaliation.

The killed suspects have been identified as 22-year-old Mohit and 24-year-old Sumit, residents of Sonipat district of Haryana. According to the police, the alleged mastermind of this entire case is Rahul alias Bhola of Sonipat, who was allegedly operating the entire murder conspiracy through Snapchat. He is also wanted in crime cases in Haryana and a reward has been announced for information leading to his arrest.

According to Shamli Superintendent of Police Narendra Pratap Singh, a song to Gogi gang is considered to be the main reason behind the murder of Ankit Balyan. SP Singh said that on August 26, he got a chance and murdered Ankit.

What is the old dispute between Gogi Gang and Tillu Tajpuria?

This case is also linked to the murder of Delhi gangster Jitendra Mann alias Gogi. In September 2021, gangster Jitendra Mann alias Gogi was murdered inside the court in the Rohini court complex. After this the sequence of gang war progressed. According to the police charge sheet, on May 2, 2023, gangster Sunil Mann alias Tillu Tajpuria was murdered by stabbing him more than 100 times with a knife in the premises of jail number 8 of Tihar Central Jail.

According to the charge sheet filed by the Special Cell on August 3, the murder of Tillu Tajpuria was an act of revenge. It was said in the charge sheet that revenge was taken against Tillu due to his role in the murder of Jitendra Mann alias Gogi in the Rohini court premises in September 2021.

After the murder of Ankit Baliyan, Shamli police had given instructions to increase security and vehicle checking at night. Shamli SP Narendra Pratap Singh said that he had ordered barricading and checking at every intersection in the district at night. According to the police, at around 4 am on Monday morning, SHO of Jhinjhana police station Virendra Kasana was checking near his police station. During this time he saw a bike coming from Karnal side. SHO tried to stop the bike. According to the police, two miscreants were riding on the bike and they immediately opened fire on the policeman. The police officer had a narrow escape, although his vehicle was hit by a bullet. After this he informed the police through wireless.

Escaped from the police and ran towards Kairana

After the firing, both the suspects ran fast on the bike and turned towards Kairana. The police were alerted through wireless. When both the suspects reached under Manna-Madra bridge, SHO Dharmendra Gautam of Kotwali police station was checking there. He also tried to stop the bike. According to the police, the suspects opened fire there also. The windshield of the police vehicle was broken due to the bullet. The SHO challenged them, but the suspects tried to leave from there as well.

Many police teams including SWAT arrived

After this, many police officers including SWAT team of Shamli police, surveillance in-charge, SHO of different police stations, CO City, ASP and CO Kairana reached the spot. According to the police, after this the suspects suddenly turned their bike to the right. Police teams surrounded them. After firing from both sides, both the suspects were killed by police bullets.

The police examined the CCTV footage of the hotel and also obtained information to his Aadhar card and PAN card from there. Shamli SP said that the alleged mastermind of the murder incident of August 26 is Rahul alias Bhola. He is a resident of Sonipat and is said to be a criminal himself. According to the police, Rahul alias Bhola was allegedly coordinating the entire action through Snapchat. He is also wanted in Haryana.
