Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president Mayawati held an important meeting of the party on Monday in the capital Lucknow regarding the preparations for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2027. District heads and state level officers of all 75 districts of the state participated in the meeting. While reviewing the situation of the organization, Mayawati gave instructions to speed up the election preparations.

He advised the workers to be cautious of election announcements and personal gain schemes of opposition parties. Mayawati said that before the elections, promises are made to woo the public, but after coming to power, complaints of breach of promises come to the fore.

Keeping in view the Assembly elections 2027, Bahujan Samaj Party is now preparing to fully activate the organization in election mode. Mayawati stressed on making the party organization more effective amid the changing political situation and strengthening preparations up to the booth level. She asked the party leaders to strongly counter the tactics of the opponents like coercion, punishment and discrimination.

Mayawati does not approve of free schemes

Mayawati targeted opposition parties over election promises and announcements. He said that before the elections, attempts are made to influence the elections through schemes, tempting promises and announcements that provide personal benefits to various sections of the society, including women. The Bahujan Samaj Party chief appealed to the workers and the public to be cautious of such election promises. He said that complaints of breach of promises come to the fore when the government is formed after the elections. Therefore, voters should vote freely and impartially according to their conscience instead of being deceived by anyone.

Claim to form government?

Mayawati said that Bahujan Samaj Party will work for the fifth time in Uttar Pradesh to form such a government in which the rule of law is strong and the objective of 'Sarvajan Hitay, Sarvajan Sukhay' is fulfilled. She directed the party officials to strengthen the organization by reaching out to the people and preparing strategies according to the changing political environment.

What is the stance regarding Gen Ji? During the meeting, the strategy of Bahujan Samaj Party regarding the changing young generation and the role of Gen Ji was also discussed. Mayawati stressed the need to connect the youth with politics and organization. The party is now also trying to increase its reach to the new generation voters. Big program on Kanshi Ram's death anniversary

In the meeting, preparations for the death anniversary program of Bahujan Samaj Party founder Honorable Kanshi Ram on October 9 were also discussed. This time, the program is being organized at the Kanshi Ram memorial site developed in front of Buddhist Smriti Upvan on VIP Road, Lucknow. According to the party, a large number of people from across the state including Western Uttar Pradesh will participate in the program. Bahujan Samaj Party has said that it will be organized with the resolve to complete the incomplete mission of Kanshi Ram.
