Lucknow. There is great news for the women of Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that three women battalions of PAC have been formed in the state. These battalions have been named after the brave women Uda Devi, Jhalkari Bai and Avantibai Lodhi.
According to the Chief Minister, through these women battalions, daughters will get a greater opportunity for leadership and service in the PAC. One battalion is being raised in Lucknow, the second in Gorakhpur, while the third battalion is said to be in the final stages of construction in Badaun.
CM Yogi said that the state government has reorganized the PAC companies and now women's participation is also being strengthened.
Preparation to give scooty to daughters also
Other schemes of the government for women were also mentioned. The Chief Minister said that there is a plan to give scooties in the name of Rani Laxmibai to 50 thousand girl students of the final year of graduation. Apart from this, it has also been said that free travel facility will be started in Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation buses for women above 60 years of age.
