If Vaibhav had scored a century, he would have broken Sachin's record and also become the second youngest Indian batsman to score a century in first class cricket, surpassing the Master Blaster. Sachin made his Ranji debut and scored a century at the age of 15 years and 230 days. Vaibhav still has a chance to break his record. Talking about the Indian record of scoring the oldest first class century, it is in the name of Dhruv Pandoev of Punjab. He scored a century in the 1988-89 Ranji Trophy at the age of 14 years and 293 days.
