Britain Crime: The body of a 70-year-old woman was found in a black bin bag in a park in Liverpool. Now the search for the murderer is going on in the murder case. On Friday (August 28, 2026 afternoon), at around 5:25 pm, a man found the dead body of a woman in a fenced garden in Stanley Park, Enfield, after which the police were informed. At the same time, Merseyside Police said that despite a lot of investigation, they have not been able to identify the victim yet. The age of the woman seems to be around 70.
Police said that many people visiting the park had seen the bin bag, but they did not find anything suspicious, so they did not inform the police. The senior officer said that the woman's body was lying inside a bag in that busy park for several weeks. The park is located between Liverpool FC's Anfield stadium and Everton FC's former home ground, Goodison Park.
Rachel Wilson said that reports of missing people have been investigated, but no leads have been found yet. He appealed to the local people to check the well-being of their neighbors and consider whether there is anyone in their area whom they have not seen for several weeks, and if so, to inform the police. The deceased woman is described as having fair skin and being in her 70s. She was 5 feet 2 inches tall, of short build and had strawberry blonde hair. She was also wearing a special pink colored Nike branded T-shirt. Wilson confirmed that detectives were examining CCTV footage from nearby streets and taking immediate action and carrying out door-to-door enquiries. He said that the post-mortem has also been done, but due to investigation, the cause of death of the woman is not being made public. Appealing to anyone who may have any information, dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage to come forward, Wilson said: “We are doing everything possible to identify the person or persons responsible and bring them to justice.” This is a shocking crime.
