Nathan Kress has marked a ‘full circle moment’ with the Victorious spinoff Hollywood Arts.
After playing Freddie Benson, the technical producer, cameraman, and web administrator for Carly’s web show in the Nickelodeon sitcom iCarlythe 33-year-old actor has taken the director’s seat for an episode of the upcoming sitcom.
Netflix shared behind the scenes pictures of the actor posing with the cast in the directing role while also having discussions on the side.
The carousel also sees the return of Robbie Shapiro (Matt Bennett), who was one of the main cast members from the original show on Nickelodeon.
“We love a full-circle moment!” The streaming giant stated. “Nathan Kress steps behind the camera to direct on HOLLYWOOD ARTS, and Matt Bennett pops in as a guest star.”
“HOLLYWOOD ARTS premieres on October 15!” Netflix announced.
Fans were thrilled with the announcement as they took to social media to share their reactions.
“Freddie behind the camera is perfect holy crossover,” one fan wrote, referring to Nathan’s character from iCarly.
“Robbie’s back!! Freddie’s behind the camera, where he belongs!” another wrote.
“I’m so excited for you all, can’t wait for it to all release,” a third said.
The upcoming series brings back Tori Vega’s (Victoria Justice) sister Trina Vega (Daniella Monet) to her old high school as a substitute teacher for a new group of talented students.
Also returning are Yvette Nicole Brown as Principal Helen and Eric Lange as Mr. Sikowitz.
