Malini Sharma left the limelight behind after starring in the Bollywood hit Raaz (2002) and series such as C.A.T.S. and Hum Dono. However, intrepid fans managed to track down the elusive actress who now runs a farmstay in the Sayadri Hills and boosted her local business with requests. An overwhelmed Malini took to social media to share her thanks and asked fans to be patient as her small farmstay tried to process all the booking requests. Fans were delighted to catch an update on the Raaz star and asked her to be more active on social media.

A delighted but overwhelmed Malini took to the Instagram page of her farmstay business, the Slow Local Diaries. In her video, Malini revealed her astonishment and gratitude towards Bollywood fans taking up the bookings at her farmstay. She and her team could not process the number of calls coming in to book at the farmstay.

Malini requested interested fans to contact them through WhatsApp instead of calling the farmstay. She wrote, "The farmstay number for bookings only. Request you to whatspp and allow us some time to revert. The slow local is on Google maps should you wish to see photos. Village kumble , taluka bhor pune."

The former actress was also trying to process all the Instagram messages inquiring about her wherabouts after . One fan stated in the comments section, "It's been 24 years of me seeing raaz i can never ever forget your presence in movie raaz.. so pretty you are mam.. what a performance.. Really happy to see you after such a long time..." While another asked Malini to share more of her life journey and others assured her that she deserved all this new outpouring of love aimed towards her. Malini opened the Slow Local in May 2018 and often shares updates of her life at the farmstay.

Besides her short stint in Bollywood, the former model also made a splash with the music videos for Mika Singh's Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag and Bombay Vikings' Kya Soorat Hai. Malini was previously married to   actor Priyanshu Chatterjee but the couple divorced. Vikram Bhatt's Raaz was the only film that Malini acted in. After stepping away from the film and TV industry, Malini has focused on her farmstay and organic lifestyle where she grows fruits, vegetables and medicinal plants.
