What is PCB's criteria for fielding coach?
Coaching Certificate: The candidate must have at least Level-II cricket coaching recognition.
Experience: Must have at least 5 years of working experience in a similar role with elite cricketers, national teams, franchises or international teams.
Technical understanding: Must have an excellent understanding of fielding techniques, game analysis and player development.
Understanding of modern techniques: The candidate should have a strong experience of what new methods, techniques and training systems are being used to improve fielding across the world these days, so that he can apply them to the Pakistani team as well.
International coaching experience: The candidate should have good experience in training international level players or athletes before, so that he can prepare the players according to the stringent standards of international cricket.
Must have strong planning-management and decision-implementing abilities. Have proven ability to work effectively with diverse players from diverse backgrounds. Must have strong analytical abilities along with problem solving.
It is necessary for the coach to run a computer, PCB sets a unique condition
PCB has also put a condition in its vacancy that the coaching candidate should have knowledge of computer, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
