Delhi University's prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce is celebrating its centenary on completion of 100 years. In this grand function, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the students and will also interact with the students. The college administration has invited him for the centenary celebrations. This year is very special and historic for the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce i.e. SRCC of Delhi University. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the centenary year celebrations organized on September 5, on the occasion of Teachers' Day. About four months ago, on April 25, members of the governing body of SRCC had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During this, the Prime Minister had described the completion of 100 years of the college as a big achievement.
SRCC is considered among the top commerce colleges of the country. This college was established by industrialist Lala Shriram in 1926. Initially it was known as Commercial College. It started from a rented bungalow with just 12 students.
Admission to UG and PG courses is done through CUET score and CSAS process of Delhi University. The college has classrooms equipped with AC and WiFi, computer lab, auditorium, library, gym and sports facilities. Along with providing commerce and economics education, the college has produced generations of leaders who have given the country leadership in various fields.
Prime Minister Modi had said that SRCC has played an important role in the higher education system of the country for a long time. The college has contributed in producing capable and effective leaders for various fields.
