UP Politics: A statement given in the politics of UP which has heated up the election atmosphere. This statement has been given by Samajwadi Party MLC Lal Bihari Yadav. Actually, a teachers seminar of Samajwadi Party was going on in Azamgarh. From the stage, Lal Bihari Yadav was appealing to the workers and supporters to vote in favor of the party candidate. Meanwhile, he said that whoever Akhilesh Yadav sends as a candidate, the workers should vote in his favor. To explain his message he gave the example of a dog and a bell.

Lal Bihari Yadav argued that party and organization are more important than the individual. But as soon as his statement came out, debate broke out from social media to political circles. The opposition started targeting the Samajwadi Party regarding this and questions started being raised as to what kind of political appeal the party leaders are making to their workers. BJP leader Alok Awasthi said that soon all the dogs will be standing with leashes outside the SP office, no one can do a bigger insult to democracy than this.
However, the party has come out in defense on the statement of Lal Bihari Yadav. SP leader Deepak Ranjan said that in democracy the people have records. who said what? What not to go into and it could be his personal statements. But this statement, which came before the 2027 assembly elections, is also important because both Samajwadi Party and BJP are already bringing their organizations into election mode. In the same program, Lal Bihari Yadav described the 2027 assembly elections as very important and expressed the need to win the MLC elections to be held before that.
That is, on one hand, BJP is giving edge to the booth and digital strategy, while on the other hand, Samajwadi Party is also giving the message to its workers to stand firmly with the decisions of the organization and leadership. But in this entire controversy, the most discussed line is that “Even if Akhilesh Yadav sends a dog with a bell tied around its neck, the vote has to be given to him…” Now, how beneficial this statement proves to be for the Samajwadi Party and how harmful, only the time to come will tell. But it is certain that with the 2027 elections approaching, the temperature of rhetoric in UP politics has already started rising.
