In India, we welcome a new vehicle into our family with an elaborate pooja because many of us consider it a part of our lives. No matter how expensive or exotic the vehicle is, almost every Indian household welcomes these new members in the same way. These are habits that most Indians follow even after they move to a different country. Several examples of the same are available online. Now, we have come across a new video from the United Kingdom where an Indian couple is seen conducting an elaborate pooja for their fourth aircraft before taking off.

The video has been shared by Mathusha on her Instagram profile. In this video, we see a couple sitting inside a hangar with a priest, and they were actually getting the pooja ritual performed for their new aircraft. The video mentions that this is their fourth plane, and when we checked their profile, it was quite evident that the couple flies a lot in their private aircraft. Coming back to the video, we see the priest conducting the rituals while the couple sits in front of the aircraft. The priest is even seen going around the aircraft as part of the vahan pooja ritual.

After completing the ritual, the aircraft is pushed out of the hangar, and we see the couple posing for pictures and videos. They then take blessings from the priest and elders in the family before taking off. Although the couple says this is their fourth aircraft, it is not clear whether they own three other aircraft or if they upgraded to a better aircraft, which happens to be their fourth one. Towards the end of the video, we see an aerial shot recorded from the cockpit of the aircraft that the couple recently bought.

The aircraft seen here in the video looks like the BRM Aero NG5, or Bristell Classic as it is called now. It is a popular, all-metal, low-wing, two-seat light sport and ultralight aircraft manufactured by BRM Aero. The aircraft seen here in the video gets a side-by-side two-seater configuration. The cockpit on this plane is 51 inches wide, with a bubble canopy over the cockpit. There are multiple versions of the aircraft available for sale, and the exact details of the one seen here in the video are not known.

The Bristell Classic has a maximum take-off capacity of 600 kg and a fuel capacity of 120 litres. This means it is not meant for long flights. The aircraft is usually opted for flight training, glider towing and recreational flying. The Bristell Classic is available with four engine options ranging from 100 to 160 PS.

This includes the 912 ULS, 912 iS, 915 iS and turbocharged 916 iS. Cruising speeds range from 126 knots up to 150 knots, depending on the engine selection. It is not clear whether the couple bought a brand-new aircraft or if it was pre-owned. Depending on this, the price of the aircraft would vary anywhere between Rs 1.6 crore and Rs 2.5 crore in Indian rupees.
