Bajaj Auto Sale In August: Bajaj Auto Sales Up 28 Percent In August 2026; A huge jump of 51 percent in exports

In August 2026, Bajaj Auto recorded an excellent performance with total sales of 5,35,764 vehicles. Last year in the same month i.e. August 2025, the company had sold 4,17,616 vehicles. Compared to this, the company's total sales have increased significantly this year by 28 percent. Exports to the international market have been a major contributor to this growth, and a tremendous growth of 51 percent has been recorded in the company's exports.

The company's two-wheeler business has, as always, been the largest contributor to overall sales. Bajaj sold a total of 4,43,748 two-wheelers in August 2026, up 30 percent from last year's 3,41,887 units. Exports of two-wheelers registered a huge growth of 53 percent to 2,41,850 units. Domestic two-wheeler sales have increased by 10 percent to 2,01,898 units. New changes to the Pulsar series such as the new generation Pulsar 150, 125 and Pulsar N160 SS, as well as growth in sales of the Chetak electric scooter have benefited the two-wheeler segment.

The company has also made good progress in the commercial vehicles segment in both the domestic and foreign markets. A total of 92,016 commercial vehicles were sold in August 2026, an increase of 22 percent. Of this, domestic sales increased by 11 percent to 53,810 units, while exports grew by 39 percent to 38,206 units.

Coming to the overall figures, the company's domestic total stood at 2,55,708 units, a growth of 10 percent. While the total export has reached 2,80,056 units.

The company has maintained its strong performance during the five months period from April to August 2026 of the current financial year. During this period, Bajaj Auto sold a total of 24,48,692 vehicles, registering an increase of 29 percent compared to 18,94,853 units in the same period last year. During the five-month period, sales of two-wheelers increased by 29 percent to 20,55,019 units, while sales of commercial vehicles increased by 28 percent to 3,93,673 units. Also, the company's total domestic sales during April-August increased by 13 percent to 11,81,978 units.
