Signs Your Prayer Is Heard: Sometimes we pray from our heart for some desire which is of great importance to us. Then the wait begins, when will we get some sign, when will the circumstances change and when will we feel that our prayers are being heard. But do you know that every religion has a different way of looking at prayer and its meaning. Therefore there is no sure way to determine when and in what form a prayer will be answered. Nevertheless, there are certain changes that occur during prayer, which many people consider part of their spiritual journey.

1. Started getting strength to face difficult situations

Many times, after praying, the circumstances do not change immediately, but our perspective of looking at them definitely starts changing.

Slowly we start gaining the courage to face the problem which we were not able to understand at all some time ago.

2. You start understanding your real needs

Sometimes we ask for a specific thing in prayer, but with time we realize that our need was something else. Perhaps we wanted success, but deep down we were looking for mental peace. We may want to take revenge on someone, but later realize that we need to get over that incident and heal ourselves.

3. New opportunities start appearing and courage to step forward comes.

Prayer does not always mean just waiting. In many religious teachings, along with faith, effort is also considered important.

If someone is praying for a job, he or she also has to apply for new opportunities. If you want to improve relationships, you may have to initiate the conversation yourself.

4. Keep the faith even if you don’t get an immediate answer

It may seem easy to have faith when everything is going our way. The real test often comes when the situation does not change despite prayer.

Gradually one can learn to focus on one’s faith and efforts instead of watching each day to see whether one’s prayers are answered or not.

5. Understand how to accept God’s timing

Human beings often want things to happen at the same time and in the same way as they have planned. But life doesn’t always go according to our plans. Many religious traditions teach that it is not always possible for us to understand God’s timing and the circumstances of life.

This does not mean that one should give up one’s wish. Rather, it may mean that while praying, one should keep one’s mind open to different outcomes and maintain faith.

There is no specific sign, time, or result of prayer. Sometimes circumstances change, sometimes change comes within the person. Therefore, instead of seeing these experiences as predictions, it is better to consider them as an opportunity for introspection. Prayer can also be the only means.
