Ingredients for Oats Cheela

  • 2 spoon gram flour
  • 2 cups oats
  • 2 teaspoon oil
  • 2 chopped green chillies
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 2 capsicum
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • a little ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon chilli
  • chopped coriander
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • green chutney or red sauce

Easy way to make oats cheela

step 1- To make oats cheela, first you have to grind oats. You can do this work with a mixer. Grind oats and keep them in a vessel. After this, add gram flour, turmeric, cumin, chilli and other spices to the ground oats and mix well.

Step 2- Now you have to make a paste for cheela by mixing finely chopped onion, carrot, tomato, capsicum, green chilli, ginger and green coriander. You can add water to it as per your need.

Step 3- Now you have to heat the fry pan and add half a teaspoon of oil in it. When the pan is hot, add some paste with the help of a spoon and make it in a round shape. You can also take the help of a bowl for this.

Step 4- When oats cheela is cooked well on one side, you have to turn it and cook it on the other side. Keep in mind that it should be cooked till it becomes crisp.

Step 5- In this way your oats cheela will be ready in about 20 minutes. You can serve it with green chutney and red sauce. Some people also like to eat it with tea.
