How does the CDBC wallet work?

Funds under the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana are credited in the form of e-Rupee. You cannot withdraw this cash from an ATM. However, you can transfer the funds to your account by downloading your bank's e-Rupee wallet.

Will the full ₹2,500 be credited to the account?

No, the entire ₹2,500 amount from the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana is not credited directly to the account. First, ₹1,000 is deposited into the CDBC wallet, and the remaining ₹1,500 goes directly into a fixed deposit. According to current media reports, the funds from this ₹1,500 FD will be credited to your account along with interest after three years.
